MINISH Dental Implants

Ideal Candidates for Dental Implants

Some patients might be ideal candidates for implants and some may not be. Implants might be suitable if:

  • Your teeth are damaged but you do not want to remove them completely
  • You have damage caused due to birth defects
  • You have severe cavities or recession in prosthodontics
  • A tooth is broken or lost in an accident
  • You experience loss of taste or inconvenience due to the use of dentures

For patients with loss of teeth or gums, implants might not be the ideal treatment. In this case, MINISH Bridge is recommended.

How are MINISH Dental Implants Done?

Digital Surgical Guide

What is a Digital Surgical Guide?

We create digital guides using advanced equipment such as CT, digital oral scanners, and the 3Shape Implant Studio program. These enable us to perform dental implant procedures safely and accurately.

  • Ensures safety through thorough pre-surgical simulation
→ Determines the implant placement while considering the maxillary sinus and mandibular nerve
  • Guarantees functional and aesthetic results by setting the implant position according to the prosthetic design
  • Enables fast surgery without unnecessary incisions

How is a Digital Surgical Guide Made?

1. Dental prosthesis

Pre-design of teeth after oral scan.

2. Determine placement location

Positioning implants according to the dental prosthesis.

3. Printing of surgical guide

Creating the digital surgical guides using a 3D printer.

4. Implant placement

Placement of the implant according to the guide.

Ready-Made Abutments vs. MINISH Custom Abutments

Custom abutments are made to fit the gum line, preventing food from getting stuck and reducing implant inflammation, which is excellent for preventing periodontal disease. For this reason, here at MINISH we only use custom abutments, ensuring healthy, satisfactory implant results.

Prefabricated Abutments

Prefabricated abutments are made to be uniform, and frequently do not fit the gum line properly.

MINISH Custom Abutments

We use only customized abutments, made in consideration of the individual’s gum height and shape.

Dental Implants in One Day at MINISH

Depending on your oral condition, tooth extraction, bone grafting, and implant placement can be performed simultaneously, reducing the number of post-operative visits to the hospital. This procedure is ideal for those who are concerned about repeated dental visits. If the bone is sufficient for the front tooth implant and initial fixation, a temporary prosthesis can be placed on the same day as surgery.

* One-day treatment may not be possible, depending on the case and the patient’s gum condition. Your final treatment plan will be decided on after a consultation with the doctor. The standard length of treatment is around 3 days.

MINISH Bridge – An Alternative to Implants

What If I Can’t Get Dental Implants?

Dental implants may not be possible due to various problems like loss of teeth or gum. In this case, we will have to consider other treatment methods. Especially if there is severe damage to the periodontal bone structure.

As an alternative to implants, patients might be better suited to receive a MINISH Teeth Bridge. A bridge is an artificial dental treatment, utilizing remaining teeth to cover missing teeth. MINISH Bridges replace missing teeth by minimizing the amount of damage caused to remaining natural teeth.

Dental bridges can also a suitable option for patients who are temporarily in Korea as this procedure only takes up to 2 weeks to complete.
